The R26 is based on the facelifted Megane 225, it benefited from the more hardcore 'Cup Chassis', but with new rear dampers giving the chassis a more planted feel. Prodigious grip & punch from the 230BHP 4 cylinder 2 litre engine were still very much the car's trademarks, but with the F1 refinements they were more ably deployed and enjoyed, much thanks to the Limited-Slip Differential which was fitted as standard. Our example has 2 aftermarket enhancements, the K-Tec exhaust & Eibach springs, both of which provide genuine benefits over standard and are very much in keeping. It also comes with a substantial service history consisting of 11 stamps of both main dealer & independent. It will also be supplied with 12-months MOT & a comprehensive 6 month warranty for ultimate peace of mind.
Inside the cabin you're instantly drawn to another signature of the F1 R26 - the Recaro seats & special base plates. All are in excellent condition as you'd expect. There is also Bluetooth phone and audio connectivity which is an aftermarket addition from Sony.
