The M4 delivers the sort of pace that will have supercar owners looking nervously in their rear-view. It’s powered by a 3-litre twin-turbo engine that's mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a carbon-fibre driveshaft to an electronically controlled limited-slip differential. This is the kind of specialized equipment once reserved for pure race cars, but now has trickled down to high-performance cars such as the M4. It is also far more efficient than the naturally aspirated V8 which it replaced in the outgoing M3 Coupe, it's a fast, engaging and a hugely desirable sports car!
